Thanks for tuning in for another episode of the Talking Lead Podcast! CJ Buck joins Lefty to host this episode down memory lane. We bring in Buck Knife historian Richard Neyman and Navy SEAL Commander Tom Coulter to talk about the highlights of Rich’s book “BuckMaster Knives: The Authorized History of Models 184 & 185”. A story of how a string of random and improbable events and people came together to produce one of the most iconic survival knives ever made. We also get a “Talking Lead Exclusive” on the new BuckMaster Knife 2.0 project.
Rich Neyman’s passion for knives is a lifelong addiction. He is a Hunter, outdoor enthusiast, avid Buck and Military knife collector. Rich is helping design the next generation BuckMaster 2.0. Rich is the leading expert on BUCK Military knives so it may come as no surprise that Rich also authored the book: ” M9 Bayonet The Authorized History”. The enduring, venerable M9 Bayonet is the longest running bayonet in our US Military History. He has lectured on US Military knives at Buck Knives Collector’s Club events and written articles in the worlds largest Survival Magazine “Survival Quarterly”.
Originally researched, developed, and then issued to serve the U.S. Navy SEALs of Team Three (Then SEAL Team Six), the BuckMaster became and is a 1980’s American icon of survival edged knives.
